Full Dentures
Full dentures (also called complete dentures) are removable dental appliances used to replace all the teeth in the upper jaw, lower jaw, or both.
They are designed to restore your ability to eat, speak, and smile naturally after losing all natural teeth.
- Restore facial appearance and smile
- Artificial teeth – usually made of acrylic or porcelain
- Sometimes reinforced with metal frameworks for added strength
- Acrylic resin base – gum-colored material that fits over your gums
02
Partial Acrylic Denture
Partial acrylic dentures (also called acrylic partial dentures or temporary partial dentures) are removable dental appliances made primarily from acrylic (a plastic-like material) that replace one or more missing teeth while some natural teeth remain.
- Blends naturally with surrounding teeth
- Artificial teeth made of acrylic or porcelain
- When a patient needs a budget-friendly tooth replacement
- May include simple metal wire clasps to grip onto natural teeth for support
03
Partial Chrome Denture
Partial chrome dentures — often called chrome-cobalt partial dentures — are a specific type of removable partial denture used to replace one or more missing teeth when you still have some natural teeth remaining. They are different from standard acrylic partials because their base and framework are made from a strong metal alloy (typically cobalt-chrome) rather than just plastic.
- The metal framework is very strong and wear-resistant, so the denture can last longer.
- Metal transmits heat and cold, so eating and drinking can feel more natural than with thick acrylic.
- The precise metal framework hugs your gums and remaining teeth more closely, reducing movement during speaking and eating.
- A well-fitted chrome partial can help prevent your remaining teeth from shifting out of place.
04
Flexible partial dentures
Flexible partial dentures are removable dental prostheses made from a soft, bendable nylon-based material rather than rigid acrylic or metal. They are designed to replace one or more missing teeth while blending naturally with your gums.
- Flexible base – Adapts to mouth movement
- Lightweight & comfortable – Softer than acrylic dentures
- Aesthetic appearance – Translucent material mimics natural gums
- Most flexible dentures are made from thermoplastic materials such as nylon

Repairs/Fracture
Repairing a denture fracture depends on the type, location, and extent of the break. Here’s a clear breakdown of what to do and what to expect.
- Fast and reliable denture repair service
- Fixes cracks, fractures, and broken denture teeth
- Restores comfort, fit, and functionality
- Helps extend the life of your existing denture
06
Repairs/Tooth Addition
Teeth are added to dentures through a precise laboratory process that ensures proper fit, function, and appearance.
Adding a Tooth to an Existing Denture
- Impression is taken with the denture in place.
- The lab adds a replacement tooth in wax.
- Cold-cure (self-cure) acrylic
- Or heat-cure acrylic (stronger option if sent to lab)
07
Repairs/Clasp
Repairing clasps on a denture depends on the type of clasp and the type of denture (acrylic, chrome/cobalt-chromium, or flexible). Here’s how it’s typically done in a dental lab:
- Special clasp adjustment pliers are used.
- The technician gently reshapes the clasp
- It is tested on a model or in the mouth for proper retention
- The denture is processed, polished, and finished.
08
Reline
A denture reline is a procedure that reshapes the fitting (tissue) surface of a denture so it adapts properly to your gums again.
Over time, your gums and jawbone naturally shrink and change shape—especially after extractions or with full dentures. When this happens, the denture can become loose, uncomfortable, or unstable. A reline corrects this without needing to make a completely new denture.
- Denture feels loose or lifts when talking/eating
- Food getting trapped underneath
- Clicking when speaking
- After extractions (as gums heal and shrink)

Mouthguards
A mouthguard is a removable dental appliance worn over the teeth to protect them from injury or damage.
It acts as a shock absorber for the teeth, gums, lips, and jaw.
Main Purposes of a Mouthguard for Sports Protection
Commonly worn during contact or high-impact sports such as:
Â
- Rugby Union
- Rugby League
- Boxing
- Broken or chipped teeth

Implant Supported dentures
Implant retained dentures are dentures that are supported and stabilized by dental implants placed in the jawbone. Instead of resting only on the gums like traditional dentures, they clip or attach onto implants for much better retention.
- Titanium implants (like those used in Dental implant treatment) are surgically
- The implants heal and fuse with the bone (osseointegration).
- The implants heal and fuse with the bone (osseointegration).
- The denture clips, snaps, or locks onto those attachments.
- The denture can usually still be removed for cleaning.
